Developing Cost-Efficiency Standards in California’s Self-Determination Program
This is a policy framework prepared by the Self-Determination Institute regarding a DDS proposal to add a cost-efficiency standard to the regional center’s cost-efficiency definition. It examines the proposal, existing program oversight data, and policy alternatives, as part of a broader effort to strengthen program integrity while preserving the principles of the Self-Determination Program.
